Lainie Goldstein, CFO for Rockstar, has said that the new Midnight Club instalment will wait for “a more favourable market window” for its release in a conference call with GameSpot.

There is speculation that it was brought forward because of fears of clashing with Sony’s own racer, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift.

The game, which includes the PSP LA Remix version among the 360 and PS3 titles, will now look to be released on 21st October in the US and 24th October in Europe.

If you’ve played the previous Midnight Club games you’ll kind of know what to expect, except this time you will be driving around a petrol playground looking for mods and races and challenges.
