GTA IV Sells Over 10 Million
05 Sep 2008 by Tamer AsfahaniAccording to a report on GameSpot, Take-Two have sold over 10 million copies of the latest GTA worldwide.
The report has been taken with a pinch of salt as previous reports from The Top Global Markets Report shows that the combined sales for the UK, US and Asian market is just over six million.
Take Two CEO, Ben Feder, also said that GTA: Chinatown Wars, exclusive to the DS, will be out sometime between November 2008 and January 2009.
Speaking to MCV and asked whether the game will finally ever get to the Wii, Feder said that having spent “an enormous amount of time and effort working with Nintendo and developing that partnership,” they hoped that the development of Chinatown Wars will help to “develop” their relationship with Nintendo.
“Nintendo and Rockstar are beginning to work well together and we intend to continue to grow that relationship.”
We reckon end of 2009 for a Wii GTA. What do you think?
